Augusta Technical College's strategic priorities focus on enhancing academic programming, building organizational excellence, creating engaging learning environments, improving institutional branding, and expanding community engagement. The plan aims to achieve national recognition for academic excellence, improve student completion rates, develop innovative programs, create a diverse and equitable workforce, modernize facilities, and strengthen partnerships with local schools, Fort Gordon, non-profit organizations, and businesses to support student recruitment, development, and placement. The college seeks to enhance its economic development impact in the region through corporate and community education and improve its overall reputation through strategic marketing and storytelling.

The 2022-2027 Strategic Plan for Augusta Technical College focuses on five key priorities: enhancing academic programming with an equity focus to achieve regional, state, and national recognition; building organizational excellence through faculty, staff, and student growth and development; creating engaging learning environments through campus modernization and technological advancements; enhancing institutional branding and reputation through strategic storytelling; and expanding community engagement to support student recruitment, development, and placement. The plan includes specific tactics to improve completion rates, develop innovative programs, create a nationally recognized transfer pathway, build a diverse workforce, implement professional development programs, modernize facilities, and strengthen community and industry partnerships.
