The District Improvement Team meeting covered several key topics. Superintendent Dr. Muri provided a district update, including the successful passage of the 2017 Bond and progress on the district's strategic plan, specifically focusing on resilient foundations, learning ecosystems, and customized supports. There was an in-depth discussion regarding the multiple measures strategy, student outcomes, the T-2-4 goal, and the support systems for IR schools. Additionally, the team received a project update on interoperability and reviewed the roadmap for the learner's journey.

This document outlines the Spring Branch Independent School District's Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy and Program for 2025-2026. The federally funded program, operating under ESSA, aims to provide equitable and high-quality education to all children by closing achievement gaps and promoting robust parent and family involvement through the Family E3 Framework. Key pillars include advancing the district's T-2-4 vision for all children, establishing a District Title I Parent Advisory Council, supporting the holistic development of children, building trusting relationships, ensuring a welcoming environment guided by core values, conducting annual family meetings, and implementing School-Parent Compacts.

The Project Advisory Team discussed the design progress for the new Memorial Drive Elementary School. Key topics included a review of exterior design updates, focusing on the front street view and front entry options. The committee evaluated various material palettes, specifically regarding brick color options, and explored design refinements for the library and window configurations. The meeting concluded with the committee members providing their final individual support and consensus for the design recommendation to be presented to the Board of Trustees.

The committee reviewed priority ranking results for the school renovation project, including classroom design, library updates, and facility enhancements. Design direction, color palettes, and material options were discussed for several areas such as the main entry, cafeteria, multipurpose room, and classrooms. The team evaluated various graphic design concepts and concluded by outlining the agenda for the next meeting.

The meeting provided an overview of the 2017 and 2022 Bond Programs, including updates on superintendent district initiatives, communications, and finance. Progress reports were shared regarding Career and Technical Education (CTE), Fine and Performing Arts, technology, and transportation. Detailed planning and construction status updates were presented for various school projects, including elementary school replacements and high school CTE renovations. The committee also discussed special projects such as playground revitalizations, kitchen renovations, safety and security vestibules, and track resurfacing.
