The plan includes quarterly monitoring and evaluation of data to ensure progress toward yearly goals.
The Mosaics Public School Schoolwide Improvement Plan addresses key needs in instruction and school programs to improve student outcomes. The plan focuses on improving ELA and math proficiency, with specific SMART goals to increase proficiency rates by 5% and 10% respectively. Evidence-based interventions, such as guided reading blocks and targeted small group instruction, are implemented to achieve these goals. The plan also identifies resource inequities such as time spent in the classroom during COVID, student attendance, staff shortages, and EL learner language acquisition as barriers to improving student outcomes. The plan will be monitored and evaluated quarterly by a SWIP committee through data and student outcome evaluation.
The Continuous Improvement Plan for MOSAICS Public School outlines its commitment to being a center of innovation, preparing students to be creative and critical thinkers through a rigorous Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) curriculum. It emphasizes fostering a collaborative culture among teachers, students, and families, and engaging with the community through service learning. The plan focuses on enhancing student achievement, improving literacy proficiency, supporting college and career readiness, and optimizing staff performance, with ongoing input from parent advisory committees and the community.
