Greater Naples Fire Rescue District Board Of Fire Commissioners Meeting
The board reviewed and accepted the Treasurer's Report and the Fire Chief's District Report, which included a decision to proceed with the Station 20 remodel rather than mold remediation, and a discussion regarding the feasibility of using the former Coastal Beverage property. The board approved the Annual Fire Chief Goals and Objectives for the 2026-27 fiscal year, as well as the Chief's annual performance evaluation, a salary increase, and an employment agreement extension. Additionally, the board approved a revised procurement policy, a revised Retiree Group Coverage Policy, an updated Employee Benefits Policy, and the hiring of a casual employee. A local union representative provided an update on a pending arbitration grievance.
