The City of Natchez also submitted a Brownfield Revolving Loan Application for the Fry Building Brownfield Site. Additionally, the Executive Director briefed the Commission on proposed water regulations under the Mississippi Air and Water Pollution Control Law, which were released for public comment and a hearing.

The Mississippi Environmental Quality Permit Board held a meeting to discuss various permit actions and certifications. The board approved surface mining permit bond releases for Meridian Brick LLC and Pierce Construction and Contract Hauling Inc., and approved the surface mining permit transfer from Key, LLC to L.H. Harris Construction, LLC in Madison County. Additionally, the general counsel announced the withdrawal of JWC Environmental, LLC's transfer station permit application and reminded board members to file their Statement of Economic Interest forms.
