Kennebec County Commission County Commissioner's Meeting Minutes
The Commission covered a wide range of operational and administrative updates across various county departments. This included human resources updates on workforce development, leave claims, and staffing, as well as a finance request for the transfer of budgeted funds. The Sheriff's Office received approval to submit a grant application for patrol equipment and discussed the procurement of new records management software. The Jail Administrator secured approval for a 5-year body scanner service contract, a service agreement with Maine Pretrial Services, and a 3-year contract for correctional facility software. The Facilities Director obtained approval for a retaining wall project at the courthouse and elevator modernization contracts for the courthouse, correctional facility, and Hill House.
