The Council also held a public hearing regarding a rezoning request from planned development to light industrial for approximately 202 acres of land near Lois Road. Residents expressed significant opposition to this rezoning, citing concerns about truck traffic, potential environmental impacts, property values, and the incompatibility of industrial zoning with the surrounding residential community.
