Sewer Rehabilitation Appeals Board Appeal Meeting
The board convened to hear property owner appeals regarding sewer remediation projects. The primary focus was a specific appeal concerning an additional cost for a drainage ditch installation at 725 River Glen. The property owner and their contractor testified that the drainage ditch was installed based on instructions from a city inspector, though formal documentation of this requirement was absent. The board discussed city policies on cost reimbursements for unauthorized or undocumented project changes and whether such drainage installations are mandatory or merely recommended.
