The meeting included discussions and potential actions regarding amendments to parking requirements for commercial facilities, a contract with the Humane Society for animal impoundment, amendments to the Salary Step Schedule for city positions, and a resolution addressing the personal views of the Council President. The agenda also covered reports from various standing committees, new ordinances and resolutions related to fund appropriation and wastewater discharge charges, and miscellaneous business from different wards.

The Marietta City Council adopted several ordinances and resolutions. These included creating positions such as Assistant Superintendent and Engineering Co-Op Intern in the Public Works Department, amending the Salary Step Schedule, and creating temporary seasonal laborer positions for the Marietta Harbor and cemeteries. Additional actions involved amending the step schedule for the Maintenance Manager at the Water Restoration Plant, appropriating and transferring funds, and authorizing an agreement with RescueReady Management, LLC for the Marietta Family Aquatic Center. The council also addressed an emergency situation involving a sinkhole on Marion Street by authorizing a contract with Jimmie Harper Construction, Inc. Other actions included repealing Ordinance No. 79 (24-25), amending Resolution No. 22 (24-25), adopting a Budget Stabilization Account/Reserve Fund Policy, authorizing a contract with GeoStabilization International, LLC (GSI) for the Hillcrest Slip Repair Project, and authorizing McKee HMA, LLC to connect certain premises to Marietta City water lines.

Ordinance 66 temporarily permitted the operation of a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) during the Great American Race. Ordinances 69 and 70 authorized agreements with Eastern Power and Gas and Constellation Energy for natural gas and electric generation aggregation programs, respectively. Resolution 17 accepted a real property donation. Resolution 18 authorized an application for a Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) agreement for a regionalization evaluation. Ordinances 60-64 amended the city's codified ordinances to abolish several positions: City Engineer, Assistant City Engineer, Engineering Office Manager, a Clerk position in the Police Department, and two patrolman positions in the Police Department. Resolution 20 authorized the installation of a park bench in honor of Roy Trembly.

Resolutions addressed granting a reasonable accommodation to the Islamic Center of Marietta regarding zoning, acquiring a delinquent tax property, adopting a Public Housing Agency Plan, establishing a National Opioid Settlement Fund, accepting the withdrawal of the Hippodrome/Colony Historical Theatre Association from a Community Reinvestment Act Agreement, and approving the continuation of a Community Reinvestment Act Agreement with Perry & Associates Holdings, LLC. Ordinances covered a one-time lump sum payment to non-union employees, fund appropriations/transfers, an easement agreement for a pedestrian/bike path, additional fund appropriations/transfers, and a donation of doors for the Marietta Harbor. Further ordinances amended vacation carry-over amounts for employees and authorized payment for accumulated vacation hours beyond the maximum allowable amount for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent.

The Marietta City Council adopted several ordinances and resolutions. Ordinances authorized contracts for a new street sweeper, the sale of a used ladder truck and pump, and the sale of used airpacks. A change order was approved for an ADA updates project. A resolution authorized a service agreement with a public housing agency.
