The Board meeting included discussions and actions on various topics. The Board withdrew a previous motion regarding the Superintendent's contract due to non-compliance with notification requirements. The meeting featured recognition of student and staff achievements. Reports were presented by the Hoquiam Middle School and High School ASB Vice Presidents and Presidents, respectively, covering extra-curricular and co-curricular updates. A policy was requested to prohibit employees from working from home, to post admin salaries on the website, and to restart facility planning meetings. The approval of accounts payable and payroll for March 2025 was motioned and approved. A travel request was approved for Ernie Lott to tour Thomas Bus Manufacturing Facilities. Resolution 25-02, concerning Debt Service Transfer of Forest Money, was approved. Also approved were a technology surplus and a travel request for the Central 5th Grade Class to visit the CISPUS Learning Center.

The meeting included reports from the Hoquiam Middle School and High School ASB, as well as the Superintendent and School Board Directors. The board discussed and approved the bus purchase and an Out-of-Endorsement Teacher Approval. The board also reviewed and approved policy 4200 and had a first reading of policy 3205. The approval of accounts payable and payroll for April 2025 was also on the agenda.

The meeting included approval of personnel changes, including the hiring of a summer school head cook, summer maintenance help, summer school assistant cooks, and an HHS assistant football coach. The board tabled action items related to the K.M.B. & C.S.G. Hoquiam Seismic Contract Approval and Capital Projects Accounts Payable.

The special meeting included an executive session to speak with legal advisors, with no action taken. The meeting then adjourned.
