Kenyon College Strategic Plan
This strategic plan outlines efforts to conserve farmland and green space in perpetuity around Kenyon College, ensuring land is never developed. Key initiatives include protecting approximately 6,000 acres of farmland within a five-mile radius through conservation easements, preserving the rural setting of the surrounding area. A significant component of the plan involved acquiring the 45-acre Tomahawk Golf Course to establish an open community green space, which additionally functions as a green burial ground, promoting eco-friendly burial practices.
