Jenks Public Schools Board Of Education Regular Meeting
The meeting included recognition for various student achievements, including the TSA Middle School State Champion Team, e-Sports League state champions, and FFA award recipients. Presentations were given on the Alternative Center's activities, updates on curriculum adoptions for Personal Financial Literacy and Social Studies and Science, CareerTech workforce readiness programs, and technology department guidelines and initiatives. The Board approved new courses for graduation credit under House Bill 3278, handbook changes for the 2026-2027 school year, inter-district transfer capacity for the Jenks Virtual Academy, the architect for the HVAC replacement project, and the general contractor for kitchen upgrades. Financial reports, budget amendments, personnel staffing plans, and several professional service agreements and memorandums of understanding were also discussed and approved, along with public comments regarding the Planetarium.
