Buchanan Community School Board of Education Regular Board Meeting
The meeting featured staff appreciation awards, including a recognition of Sandra Miller, and a presentation by the Science Olympiad team regarding their recent accomplishments and upcoming state competition. Additionally, the band was recognized for its division one ratings at the festival. Other business included a report on a mini-grant awarded to the science department for ecological monitoring, the announcement of the renovation of the baseball field, and the recognition of the school farm as the Barn of the Year by the Michigan Barn Preservation Network. The agenda also included a department report and a presentation from the Moccasin building.
