The meeting included discussions and decisions on several nominations. Nomination 23-DOT-0008 and Nomination 24-DOT-0001 were approved with Antero Resources and SWN Production (Ohio), LLC selected as the highest and best bids, respectively. Nominations 24-DOT-0002, 24-DOT-0003, 24-DOT-0004 and 24-DOT-0005 were approved with additional provisions and will move to bidding next calendar quarter. Nominations 24-DOT-0006, 24-DOT-0007, 24-DOT-0008, 24-DOT-0009 and 24-DNR-0001 were disapproved. Nomination 24-DNR-0002 was approved with additional terms and conditions and will move to bidding next calendar quarter.

The meeting addressed the departure of the former Chair Richardson and the introduction of the new Director's designee from ODNR. The commission delayed the approval of minutes from the August 12th, 2024 meeting. Nomination 24-DNR-0005, concerning Leesville Wildlife Area, was approved with ODNR special terms and conditions. Action was delayed on Nominations 24-DNR-0007 & 24-DNR-0008, both related to Salt Fork State Park, to allow for additional review.

The meeting included discussions and actions on several nominations. The commission delayed approval of minutes from a previous meeting due to a lack of quorum. They also discussed and approved posting proposed changes to the Commission-adopted standard lease to the OGLMC website. Nomination 24-DNR-0005 was approved with Encino Acquisition Partners Ohio, LLC selected as the highest and best bid. Nomination 24-DNR-0009 and Nomination 24-DOT-0012 were approved with additional special terms and conditions. Action was delayed on Nomination 24-DNR-0010 and Nomination 24-DOT-0013 to distinguish the 120-day and 180-day provisions provided in statute.

The meeting addressed several nominations for oil and gas land management. Nomination 24-DNR-0004 was withdrawn. The commission discussed its authority regarding changes to parcels and lease bonus offers, as well as tolling the primary lease term. Nominations 24-DNR-0002, 24-DOT-0002, 24-DOT-0003, 24-DOT-0004 and 24-DOT-0005 were approved. Nomination 24-DOT-0010 was disapproved due to concerns about the lease bonus. Nomination 24-DOT-0011 was approved with additional provisions. Nomination 24-DNR-0003 was approved with special terms and conditions requested by ODNR.
