The council meeting included discussions and actions on several topics. The Sheriff's Office reported on town patrols and incidents, with a request for increased police presence. Grant quotes were being obtained for paving, fencing, and landscaping projects. Street signs were noted to be in poor shape and will be replaced or refaced. Amendments to the FY 2024-25 budget were reviewed and adopted, and the FY 2025-26 budget was reviewed and adopted with a recommendation for additional payments to the Sewer Loan. The town is still seeking a maintenance worker. A red crabapple tree was planted for Arbor Day. The Town Mayor & Council Salary Increase was tabled. A Community Yard Sale was announced, and volunteers are needed for a Trail Work Day. Work is progressing on the town website update. An update was provided on the previous executive session, and the Seneca Ave. Excavation matter will be referred back to the County offices. A banner will be ordered to promote the Community Yard Sale.
