Additionally, the Board presented a formal resolution honoring the life and legacy of Theophilus Overture Stokes Jr., recognizing his extensive contributions to the community, including his service as a veteran, businessman, and civic leader.

The unhoused update reviewed current service programs such as GSO Homes and the Behavioral Health Response Team, discussing their effectiveness, associated costs, and the potential for earlier intervention strategies. Finally, the legislative update addressed the City's progress in prioritizing legislative focus areas, specifically housing, transit, and infrastructure, in coordination with state funding opportunities.
