Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools Board Of Education Regular Meeting
The board meeting covered a variety of administrative and educational agenda items. The Superintendent presented a report on year-end financial closeouts, summer instructional programs, and student achievement growth. The Board approved revisions to Policy 8350 regarding fixed asset inventory thresholds, a new payroll calendar for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, and end-of-year budget resolutions. Several financial matters were addressed, including budget amendments, insurance renewals, and an interim budget resolution. The facility formerly known as Pasquotank Elementary School was renamed to Pasquotank Learning Campus. Additionally, the Board approved the 2026-2027 meeting calendar, various curriculum quotes, Exceptional Children contract services, the Career and Technical Education local application, the election of student board members, and the district-wide implementation of the IXL learning platform.
