Mayor and Board of Aldermen Regular Meeting

The board addressed multiple municipal matters, including the reappointment of a board member to the MPUA Board and the approval of a master plan contract for the arsenal property. Legislative actions included the first readings of budget amendments and two property rezoning ordinances. The board also approved land leases for grazing and hay production on city property, accepted a donation of property on Main Street, awarded a bid for a fire engine loan, and contracted for the installation of a new traffic light. Furthermore, an exclusive two-year beverage sponsorship agreement with Coca-Cola for city parks was approved.
