It also focuses on providing excellent service through program delivery, high-quality instruction, advising, onboarding, and student support services. The meeting included a review of enrollment, graduation, and transfer data, as well as how the curriculum was delivered during the pandemic. Updates were provided on Math, Physics, and Engineering courses, including the addition of Math 113 and changes to the Calculus series. Scholarship and internship opportunities were also discussed, including the BPCC Endowed Scholarship in Engineering, the Gene Hass Foundation Scholarship, and donations from the Louisiana Engineering Society (LES). BPCC Engineering Articulations with LA Tech, ULL, and LSU were reviewed, and the board participated in a live poll on member involvement activities.
