The Council discussed several operational and community matters, including noise complaints regarding the Jeffersonian Building, receipt of a grant for a comprehensive bike plan, and the status of the Baltimore Avenue Parking Garage, which prompted a discussion on maintenance versus replacement. Other topics included proposed zoning amendments for rear yard setbacks and signage, the consideration of parking and infrastructure studies, and a variety of mass gathering permit applications for upcoming local events. Additionally, the Council addressed municipal record disposal, environmental initiatives such as composting grants, and staffing needs for the Public Works Department.

The meeting included a public hearing regarding the comprehensive plan for the borough, which focused on key areas such as demographic shifts, environmental conditions, roadway safety for pedestrians and bicyclists, economic development, and housing affordability.
