This document outlines the East Valley Water District's (EVWD) 2019 Sewer System Master Plan, updating the previous 2013 plan and its hydraulic model. The plan aims to provide cost-effective and reliable sewer services by evaluating the sewer system under existing, near-term, and build-out conditions. The primary item for discussion and recommendation was the acceptance and filing of the Investment Report for the quarter ended September 30, 2022, as required by California Government Code §53646(b). The report detailed the District's cash and investments, both restricted and unrestricted, as of that date. Analysis included activity in the Local Agency Investment Fund (LAIF), noting interest earned and transfers made to cover contractor invoices, and the status of assets held with Citizen's Business Bank (CBB) Wealth Management, including investment earnings and manager fees. The report also summarized activity in the restricted US Bank accounts designated for bond payments.

The East Valley Water District's 5-Year Work Plan outlines key projects and priorities to foster a resilient, efficient, and effective organization, aligned with its vision for a sustainable, transparent, and accountable future. The plan focuses on five pillars: Effective Solutions; Sustainability, Transparency, and Accountability; Organizational Resiliency; Planning, Maintenance, and Preservation of District Resources; and Community Engagement, Advocacy, and Leadership. Its purpose is to guide resource allocation and planning to ensure reliable water and wastewater services while addressing critical long-term needs and adapting to future challenges.
