The strategic plan for the Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine School District aims to create a comprehensive educational environment that produces life-long learners equipped for success. It focuses on empowering all students to pursue success through five core goals: increasing student achievement, promoting student and staff health and wellness, ensuring sustainable funding and improving facilities, fostering balanced equity and diversity, and enhancing communication and community engagement.

The agenda includes a financial update from the superintendent and various reports from the principal, such as recognition of students of the week, information on awarded grants, a summer school update, and details regarding 8th-grade graduation. Old business covers weight room updates. New business items include shared library services, technology quotes, an introduction to computers course, WIAA membership renewal, and 2026-27 open enrollment applications. Additionally, the agenda covers informational items such as the WASB summer learning symposium and summer office hours, as well as a closed session to discuss personnel matters and employment-related data.

The meeting included reports on district finances, student achievements, and the third-quarter honor roll, alongside updates on spring building and grounds projects. Key new business items featured a discussion on the employee handbook, an action proposal regarding speech services for the 2026-27 school year, consideration of a support staff resignation, an outreach program presentation by the North Lakes Community Dental Clinic, and a proposal to adjust the timing for the upcoming May workshop meeting. Election results for spring 2026 were also presented for information.

The board conducted a canvass of the results for the Spring General Election and Referendum Question. Election returns from the Towns of Beecher, Dunbar, and Pembine were processed, and the official results were announced, including vote totals for board positions and the referendum question. Certificates of the Board of Canvassers were completed to verify the winning candidates and the outcome of the referendum.

The board meeting agenda included informational items such as a Christmas concert update, referendum progress, and the WASB State Education Convention. The board also addressed the approval of bank account signers. An executive session was scheduled to consider sensitive personnel-related information, discuss an alternate open enrollment application, and take necessary actions following the closed session deliberations.
