A new facility management website was presented, with features for reserving pavilions and ball fields, and for managing events. A council member reported an issue with a road closure without a detour sign, which was addressed.

The meeting included discussions and decisions on several bids and requests. The council approved the purchase of rescue airbags from Banner Fire Equipment, and agreed to list the old Vector truck on Purple Wave for sale. They also approved the purchase of salt from DBK, and an upgrade for the animal control software from BSNA. Additionally, the council approved the purchase of playground equipment for Sunset Park.

The meeting included discussions and actions on several key issues. The council approved an intergovernmental agreement with Jefferson County 911 dispatch to enhance radio communication for police officers. They also approved the final plan for Birchwood Estates Phase 3, addressing sidewalk connectivity to the school. The council discussed and approved the 2021 roadblock schedule, with the condition that organizations present a safety plan for approval by the administration, and addressed concerns about lighting on a street near West City Park, as well as the locking of park gates and recent vandalism. The meeting included the appointment of a vice president, discussion of the investment schedule and insurance policy notices, and a plant manager's report. The plant manager discussed a tentative shutdown in September for air raater and slaker maintenance, including changing a propeller. There was also discussion about the new SCADA system and the need to follow up with Durkin for an implementation schedule.
