Uso 509 Board of Education Regular Meeting Minutes
The board adopted ten resolutions concerning operational and fiscal policies for the upcoming school year, including audit requirements, cafeteria plan administration, banking designations, student fees, and employee mileage rates. Updates were approved for the Student, Teacher, Classified, Crisis, and PreK handbooks. The board also approved changes to the district Strategic Plan, KASS policy updates, and KARE membership. Additionally, new policy regarding out-of-district student mileage reimbursement was established, and a donation from Moreland Farms was accepted. Executive sessions were conducted to discuss a legal complaint, negotiated agreement packages, and superintendent hiring recommendations.
