Estes Comprehensive School Improvement Plan 2028
The school improvement plan focuses on several key areas: improving state assessment results in reading, mathematics, science, social studies, and writing; closing achievement gaps, particularly for multiracial students; enhancing English learner progress; and improving school climate and safety. The plan includes strategies such as implementing quality professional learning for teachers, utilizing High-Quality Instructional Resources (HQIR), and designing and analyzing data through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). It also addresses the need for effective implementation of cooperative learning strategies and transition plans for students, as well as providing additional support through intervention plans and specialized programs like Equipping Minds. The plan aims to create a positive school culture where students feel safe and supported academically, socially, emotionally, and physically, with a focus on increasing student engagement and providing opportunities for family and community involvement.
