The Minden City Council held a regular session where they addressed several key items. They adopted minutes from previous meetings, declared certain city properties as surplus, and authorized the execution of the First Amendment to the Municipal Materials Management Agreement. The council also granted requests for access to the City of Minden Water System for properties on Guy Miller Road, approved the reappointment of Brian Meeker to the Minden Main Street Program/Downtown Development Commission, and approved multiple police officer promotions. Additionally, they confirmed new full-time police officers, accepted the Budget/Financial Report, the Annual Fire Report, and the Police Report. The meeting concluded with the presentation of proclamations to the 2025 National Night Out Block Party Hosts.

They also authorized the Mayor to execute an agreement for airport improvements. Actions were taken regarding multiple condemned properties, with decisions made on demolition orders and time extensions for property owners to address the issues themselves. Reappointments were made to the Minden Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board. The council authorized the Mayor to enter into agreements with CivicPlus and Waggoner Engineering, Inc. Additional actions included authorizing funds for property cleanup, executing an amendment to a maintenance agreement with the Department of Transportation, opting out of a temporary housing assistance program, and approving a police department promotion. The Budget/Financial Report for July 2025 and the Police Report for July 2025 were presented and accepted.

Additionally, the council reviewed the annual bridge maintenance report, approved a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with the City of Minden Ward-1 Marshal, and reappointed a member to the Minden Planning Commission. They also approved a police department promotion and confirmed the appointment of new full-time police officers. Budget/Financial and Fire Department reports were presented, and the Police Report for August 2025 was accepted.
