The Board of Trustees canvassed the returns and declared the results of a bond election held on November 4, 2025, to determine if the District would be authorized to issue general obligation bonds. The proposition to issue bonds in the amount of $63,000,000 for school facilities and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds failed at the Election.

The Board of Trustees of the Boyd Independent School District ordered a special election to be held on November 4, 2025, to determine whether the District will be authorized to issue bonds not exceeding $63,000,000 for designing, constructing, renovating, improving, upgrading, modernizing, acquiring, and equipping school facilities, purchasing necessary sites and new school buses, and security devices. The order includes details on voting methods, polling places, election officials, and compliance with legal requirements. It also specifies the aggregate amount of outstanding debt, interest owed, and the ad valorem debt service tax rate. The Board authorized contracts with the County and other Participants for election services and allowed for modifications to the order and its exhibits as necessary for legal compliance.
