The council held a tribute for former mayor Kenneth J. Daida. The Council directed staff to proceed with budget analysis and project planning, identify cost-saving opportunities by prioritizing infrastructure and landslide remediation projects, review potential fund transfers for priority needs, and schedule an additional budget workshop. Furthermore, staff was tasked with evaluating potential fiscal sustainability sources and reviewing policies regarding the use of reserves.

The City Council meeting included a closed session report concerning a potential litigation matter and a unanimous authorization for the city attorney to initiate a code enforcement action.
