Student Representatives from Tigard High School and Tualatin High School provided their reports. Key discussion items involved Budget Assumptions and a Bond Update. Action items addressed contracts for several projects: Deer Creek ES Security & Infrastructure, HS Restroom Project, and multi-purpose/soccer field lighting. Further action items included second reads for a New Science Proposal, the 2026-27 Draft Calendar, approval for technology equipment, and technology purchases funded by the 2025 Bond.

The session included a Work Session focused on School Continuous Improvement Plans through roundtable discussions. The Regular Session covered the approval of the agenda and consent agenda, which included the Human Resource Report and minutes from a November 3, 2025 meeting. Key segments involved recognition of new leadership, student representative reports from Tigard High School and Tualatin High School, and communications from the Superintendent and Board members regarding food insecurities and advocacy. Discussion items included an Enrollment and Transfer Report, a first reading of updated Board Policies (e.g., BCF, CEA, BHD, LBEA), the Financial Oversight Committee Annual Report detailing investment strategy and bond sales, the MITCH Annual Presentation focusing on literacy and restorative justice, and a report on Board legislative priorities for the 2026 session. Action items included approval of Resolution 2526-13 authorizing the NWRESD Local Service Plan for 2026-27, and an action item stemming from an Executive Session discussion concerning the dismissal or disciplining of an employee.
