Board of Agriculture and Biosecurity Meeting Minutes
The Board approved a direct operating loan for a nonprofit farm, authorized the transfer of multiple leases and vacant parcels into the Agricultural Enterprise Program, and approved the assignment of a general lease on Molokai. A request to amend a prior board action regarding land parcels containing a high-hazard dam was deferred pending further information. The Board also reviewed proposed amendments to an interim rule regarding Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle regulations and the movement of host materials; however, the motions to amend failed, and the existing rule remained unchanged.
