College Council Regular Meeting
The council discussed various action items, including the status of sustainability tracking, student workshops, media and marketing initiatives for students, expansion of the conversation club, and the development of an employee responsibility document. The council approved the current draft of the operating manual for review by union representatives. Updates were provided on the Faculty Development Program, upcoming student initiatives, and strategic goal setting. Members also addressed student communication concerns, engagement challenges for one-year programs, and bridging programs for international students. New business included the election of a new Chair and Vice-Chair for the upcoming two-year term and a brief discussion on an anti-racism pilot course.
