Board of Public Works & Safety Minutes
The board reviewed and took under advisement bids for the Berne Safety Building Improvements Project and awarded bids for two city vehicles. Additionally, the board approved the bid for the Van Buren Street Improvements Project and authorized the purchase of a Neptune AMI Gateway system for the Water Department to improve meter reading and leak detection capabilities. Finally, the board recommended that the City Council establish a new No Parking Zone on Parkway Street to improve access for fire department vehicles.
