The board discussed several administrative and student-related items, including a report from the FFA and updates from the finance and building and grounds committee. Key discussion and action items involved the approval of out-of-state field trips for the high school band and FFA, revisions to the elementary student handbook, the addition of two elementary teaching positions, and the approval of a service agreement for pre-election community outreach and campaign services.

Consent agenda items included personnel changes involving new hires and a resignation. Key discussion and action items focused on the MASB Board of Directors election, an overnight field trip for the FFA, approval of a transportation letter of agreement, sick bank donations for a transportation department member, a budget amendment, and the allocation of district Erate funding.
