The committee discussed updates on the Central Recreation project, including preliminary construction documents, park layouts, and ADA accessibility enhancements. Additionally, the committee reviewed the summer outlook, encompassing movie events, senior games, pool preparations, recent volunteer recognition, and seasonal athletic program updates.

The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes proclamations for Homeownership Month, Juneteenth, and Parks and Recreation Month. The Council will consider engineering service contracts for property redevelopment, a new Utility Billing Services Director position, and revisions to the city's class and grade schedule.
