Pike County Board Of Commissioners Regular Monthly Meeting
The Board discussed and took action on numerous items, including a compensation study presentation, the appointment of a new member to the Parks and Recreation Authority, and approval of an auditor engagement letter. The Board authorized the purchase of a public works truck, accepted the donation of four fire department vehicles, and approved resolutions calling for referendums on HB 1563 and HB 1562. Additionally, several administrative and operational approvals were made, such as setting up a general assistance program for the DFCS, approving various courthouse ground uses for community events, and installing a stop sign. Certain agenda items regarding tax digest removals and capital improvement updates were postponed or not entertained.
