Aaniiih Nakoda College Strategic Plan 2024-2028
The 2024-2028 Strategic Plan for Aaniiih Nakoda College (ANC) centers around four goals: Academic Quality, Indigenous Lifeways, Student Success, and Institutional Capacity and Sustainability. The plan aims to enhance the quality of postsecondary education for Fort Belknap Reservation and surrounding communities, emphasizing the revitalization of Aaniinen and Nakoda lifeways while preparing students for success in a technological society. Specific strategies include improving student proficiency in chosen fields, ensuring quality instruction, aligning programs with community needs, strengthening Indigenous language and cultural integration across the curriculum and campus life, increasing student access and success through improved support services and engagement, and enhancing institutional capacity through improved communication, technology, and resource management.
