The board discussed potential new definitions for data centers to address concerns about large-scale facilities while allowing smaller ones. Additionally, the meeting covered updates on a public hearing for the comprehensive plan and a search for new board member candidates. Final site plan approval was granted for the Foley Brener project, including conditions for environmental protection and sedimentation control. The board also held a public hearing regarding a site plan amendment for the Colonel project, during which community members expressed concerns regarding the environmental impact of proposed grading, excavation, and the extensive use of stone materials on the lakefront property.

The Ulysses 2045 Comprehensive Plan outlines a 20-year vision and roadmap for the Town of Ulysses, guiding decisions on sustainable growth and enhancing residents' quality of life. Key strategic areas addressed include land use and rural issues, housing, economic development, transportation, capital facilities and utilities, environment and natural resources, climate change and resiliency, community well-being, and the built environment. The plan aims to balance residential, commercial, and employment growth with the protection of rural character and natural resources, adaptation to climate change, and improvement of multimodal transportation.
