St. Ignace City Council Regular Meeting
The Council approved a contract for professional services regarding tax abatement policy. Discussions were held regarding a tax abatement request for a proposed Fairfield Inn and a mixed-use development proposal on South Airport Road. A moratorium was instituted on data centers and cryptocurrency mining facilities to allow for regulatory study. A resolution regarding a platted lot split was adopted.
