The Council addressed several business items, including the hiring of a new laborer for the Street and Maintenance department and the approval of a resolution to rename a street at the JST Project. Additionally, the Council held public hearings and approved a lounge liquor license for Gemini Tavern and Restaurant LLC, as well as a special event license for Levis on the Lake LLC.

The meeting encompassed several administrative and community-related items, including personnel reports, approval of vehicle bids for multiple departments, and a surplus truck declaration for the Horticulture Department. The Council approved an airport hangar lease for Mooresville Industrial Park LLC and an agreement with Nina & Pinta regarding harbor visits. Additionally, the Council scheduled public hearings for two alcohol license requests. Business license and tax delinquency issues involving a local restaurant were tabled pending inspections. The council discussed and approved a personnel promotion within the Police Department for the position of Sergeant, effective November 24, 2025. An audit report for 2024 was presented, highlighting increases in assets, revenues, and expenditures related to various city projects and land acquisitions. Public hearings were conducted for liquor licenses for Casey's on the Lake and JD's on the Lake, both of which were approved. Additionally, upcoming community events were announced, and a public comment regarding a property building was addressed.

The Council meeting involved the approval of Resolution No. 1481 for the purchase of seven Police PPV vehicles and associated equipment. The Council also authorized the Police Department to apply for the Small, Rural and Tribal Body-Worn Camera Program Grant to fund four cameras. Additionally, the Council approved the annual contract with the Chamber of Commerce, receiving a presentation regarding their budget and business recruitment efforts. A public comment regarding personnel sick leave was addressed by the Mayor, who declined to discuss specific personnel matters in a public forum.
