The council meeting covered various operational and project-specific topics. Key discussions included standing items such as introductions, meeting protocols, conflict of interest declarations, and seating of members. The agenda addressed budget adjustments, the creation of a Nominating Committee for upcoming elections, and a review of project applications submitted in response to a call for applications. Members also discussed the potential for staggering member terms to ensure continuity, received updates on project developments, and reviewed administrative information regarding future funding rounds and application submission tools.

The meeting agenda includes a presentation from the Commissioner of the Department of Housing and Community Development and an overview of the Energy Program. Additionally, the Board will review commission reports, deliberate on action items from the Project Review Committee, and address the ratification of the Title VI Plan update. Various committees, including Finance, Personnel, Executive, Transportation Advisory, Brownfields, Plan and Policy, Vermont Economic Progress Council, Rural Community Transit, and the Healthy Roots Advisory Committee, will provide updates.

The committee also began preparations for the upcoming annual regional priorities discussion and addressed the need for improved municipal outreach due to committee vacancies. Additional updates included the hiring of seasonal transportation interns and the potential for hosting the 2028 VTrans Walk Bike Summit.
