Wellston Board of Education Special Meeting
The board discussed and approved various contracts and agreements for the upcoming school year, including software subscriptions for Apptegy, IXL, and Shoelace Learning. The agenda included actions on activity fund fundraiser requests and the approval of General Fund payments, including child nutrition and blanket purchase orders. The board reviewed and adopted student and faculty handbooks, as well as OSSBA recommended travel and expense policies. Additionally, several personnel actions were taken, including the approval of adjunct teacher certifications and the hiring of a secondary history teacher, a family support coordinator, and a varsity slow pitch softball head coach. The board also reviewed encumbrance registers for general and building bond funds.
