The Benedictine University Library's strategic plan outlines a comprehensive approach to enhancing its role within the university. It is structured around five guiding principles: creating spaces that foster learning, creativity, research, and student success; transforming library services to support the evolving needs of faculty and students throughout the scholarly communication lifecycle; promoting an active, visible, and vital presence in the academic life of the university through collaboration and programming; building and providing access to rich and diverse collections and services that support the university's mission; and cultivating a climate of assessment to ensure continuous improvement and responsiveness to user needs.
