St. Bernard Parish Council Regular Meeting
The Council meeting involved entering into an executive session to discuss legal litigation, specifically the Parish of St. Bernard v. Atlantic Richfield Co., et al. Additionally, the Council recognized the 85th Anniversary of the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans and received information regarding disaster aid from the Small Business Administration. Various ordinances were adopted, including amendments to animal control regulations regarding pet food and toy donations, the authorization of sales for adjudicated properties, and an agreement for drain line replacement. The Council also canvassed and declared results of special elections for renewal of special taxes and introduced ordinances to amend the annual operating and capital budget.
