The Department of Administration is committed to providing excellent service to Nevadans through efficient and effective solutions. Priorities include responsiveness to customer needs, continuous leadership improvement, innovative strategies, improved efficiency via review and automation, enhanced transparency, and supporting agency performance through workforce development. The department comprises 12 divisions, including Administrative Services, Enterprise Information Technology Services, and Human Resource Management.

The meeting included discussion and possible action on several key items. These included updates on the DMV License Plate Project, where the commission discussed the possibility of souvenir plates and reinstating the previous design to commemorate women's suffrage. The Marketing and Social Media Report highlighted the use of Instagram and the potential for creating a LinkedIn account. The Elevate Her Project was also discussed, with potential collaborations with UNLV and the International Women's Forum to update facts and coordinate future events. The commission also reviewed terms, term limits, and vacancies, and created working groups for the Elevate Her Project, focusing on fundraising, special events, and special projects.

The meeting included a call to order, roll call, and public comments. The commission discussed and approved travel expenses for the June 6th Strategic Planning Meeting, allocating up to $4,200 from the Nevada Commission for Women budget. There was also an opportunity for public comment.

The Nevada Commission for Women (NCFW) meeting covered several key areas. The commission discussed the NCFW dedicated space hallway, including potential revamping, incorporating art, and updating displays. Strategic planning involved discussions on incorporating banners, updating the website with a Linktree, and creating fundraising, marketing, special projects, and event/speaker series groups. The commission also discussed the NCFW website, including removing Twitter links, adding an Instagram link, and featuring nominated women. Budget discussions included past financial information, potential grants and funding, and the current budget status. Social media updates were provided, and commissioners requested updated name tags. Public comments suggested adding partnerships and collaborations to the website.
