City of Benbrook City Council City Council Communication
The City Council reviewed proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance concerning data centers. The amendments aim to define data centers as a restricted use, requiring a Conditional Use Permit for development within the Industrial District. The proposal establishes the City Council as the final approval authority for these permits, following a review and recommendation process by the Planning and Zoning Commission. This approach is intended to provide greater oversight regarding the infrastructure and utility demands associated with such facilities.
