The Commission evaluated professional services for the Topping Road Phase 2A project, resulting in the approval of Horner & Shifrin, Inc. Significant discussion occurred regarding the adoption of the 2024 International Code Council (ICC) Code Revisions, with detailed inquiries into requirements for rebar in foundations and new safety regulations for pool and spa barriers. Additionally, updates were provided on the bidding process for the Maintenance Annex project, the status of various sidewalk grants, and a cancellation of the Parks & Trails Commission meeting.

The Board of Aldermen discussed several administrative and project-related items. Topics included an update on the maintenance annex project bids, the status of a new restaurant drive-thru's impact on local traffic, and a presentation on facility updates. The board also approved ordinances related to a crack sealing program, a public works mutual aid assistance agreement, banking services, and engineering/surveying services for sidewalk replacement projects at Drace Park and Long View Farm Park. Additionally, a summer meeting schedule for the board was proposed.
