These appointments involve various roles such as Chairs, Graduate Chairs, Directors, and Principals with staggered terms.

The St. George Campus Plan 2040 for the University of Toronto's St. George Campus provides a flexible framework for future development through 2040. It aims to empower students, foster community, champion urban stewardship, and lead in sustainability. The plan is structured around a foundational campus framework (vision, guiding priorities, and driving values), a framework for physical development, and a vision for the campus public realm. Key guiding priorities include transforming society, modeling urban future, and leading in research and education, supported by values such as environmental sustainability, health and wellbeing, indigeneity, and inclusion, all to create a more connected, inclusive, vibrant, resilient, and student-centered campus.

The committee reviewed the results of the recent nomination period for council positions and discussed the timeline for re-opening nominations for part-time student seats. Additionally, the committee finalized and approved the agenda for the upcoming meeting of the campus council.

The committee meeting covered a presentation on Ontario's new funding rules for defined benefit pension plans, including solvency and going concern funding, provisions for adverse deviations, and benefit guarantee fund changes. The committee reviewed investment performance for the period ending December 31, 2017, noting actual returns outperformed targets and benchmarks. Additionally, the committee discussed the draft UTAM Responsible Investing Report for 2017, highlighting enhancements in ESG factor integration, carbon footprint disclosure commitments, and active engagement strategies. The committee also received a status update regarding the forthcoming UTAM Annual Report.
