Pittsylvania County Schools aims to improve academic performance by increasing SOL test pass rates to 90% by 2026 and halving the assessment performance gap between subgroups by 2028. The plan also focuses on decreasing chronic absenteeism to pre-pandemic levels by 2030, reducing dropout rates below the state average by 2028, and enhancing college and career readiness by increasing dual enrollment and AP course enrollment by 2028.
