Adirondack Central School District Instructional Technology Plan 2026-2029
The Adirondack Central School District's Instructional Technology Plan aims to ensure all students graduate with necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes for success in work, higher education, and society. The plan focuses on three key areas: enhancing cybersecurity posture through MFA, phishing simulations, and incident response exercises; modernizing network infrastructure by upgrading wireless access points and network switches; and developing a comprehensive K-12 Computer Science and Digital Fluency curriculum in partnership with Nearpod. The vision emphasizes providing equitable access to technological experiences, high-functioning devices, and rich learning opportunities to prepare students for college, career, and civic readiness, while promoting academic excellence and lifelong learning.
