The board approved a financial report and multiple grant requests for local organizations, including the Converse County Animal Shelter, Deer Creek Museum, Main Street Glenrock, and The Enterprise. The meeting featured reports from the Wyoming State Fair, the Douglas Visitor Center and Railroad Museum, and various marketing and administrative updates. Key actions included the adoption of language for the upcoming lodging tax election, the recommendation of a board member for a second term, and the approval of the Fiscal Year 2027 budget.

The meeting focused on the approval of bills and invoices related to communications and operations. Reports were presented by the Communications Manager, the Advisory Committee, and Technical Services. Action items included the review and consideration of the Bosch SMA Agreement quote and the conduct of interviews for the position of Communications Manager. Additionally, an executive session was scheduled regarding legal matters.

The Commission addressed Old Business concerning the vacation and replatting of the Bluegrass River Ranch Minor Subdivision.

The meeting agenda includes updates regarding the Converse County Shooting Range improvements project, specifically addressing change orders and extension of services. Additionally, the commission will conduct a business review of county departments, including Questica and FY2027 budget updates, followed by a budget work session to finalize the FY2027 budget and a lunch meeting with MHCC leadership.

The meeting included department updates for Road and Bridge, Human Resources, and Public Health, as well as an update on the Natural Bridge Trail System from the Outdoor Enthusiasts of Converse County. Two public hearings were held regarding the Sage Park Minor Subdivision and the dedication of a portion of Jenne Trail. Additional topics included updates from the Wyoming Business Council and FDL Consulting, LLC regarding various capital projects such as courthouse studies, office renovations, and an animal shelter expansion. An executive session was convened to discuss personnel matters.
